As can be seen from the chart, the figure of female students studying at Medical Universities started at
well over 30 in 2003, and then it dropped significantly to bottom out at under 20 one year later. It is
noticeable that this number rocketed to 90 in 2005, which was over 4 times as large as that in 2004,
before experiencing a sharp drop of 30 to stand at 60 in 2006. Meanwhile, that of schoolgirls remains
stable in 2007, and then it rose considerably to reach a peak of 120 in 2008 which was twice as high as
that number in last year, before it suddenly plunged to 40 at the end of the surveyed period.

As is shown in the line chart, the figure of people who suffer from Swine flu in HCM city started at 20 in
April, and then it remains stable in May. Suddenly, this number rocketed to 80 in July, which was 4 times
as high as that in May, after witnessed a moderate increase of 20 to stand at 40 in June. However, there
was a sharp dropped to 40 in August, and then it slightly went up to over 60 in September, before
experiencing a crash to bottom out at under 20 one month later. Badly, the situation of swine flu
seemed to be out of control in November, there was a surge to reached a peak of 100, before it
decrease marginally to over 90 at the end of the surveyed period.
