Introduction
Proper use
The product is designed to display the time, date, day as well as the current
indoor temperature. The product has an alarm and countdown function. In
addition, the product is designed to store writing implements. Other uses
or modication of the product shall be considered as improper use and
may lead to injury or damage. The manufacturer will not accept liability
for loss or damage arising from improper use. The product is not intended
for commercial use.

Battery Safety Instructions
CAUTION! RISK OF EXPLOSION! Never recharge the batteries.

Have a spent battery removed from the instrument immediately. There
is an increased risk of leakage.
Batteries must not be disposed of in household waste.
Consumers are under a legal obligation to dispose of batteries in the
proper way.
Keep the battery out of the reach of children, do not dispose of the
battery in re, do not shortcircuit it, and do not take it apart.
Failure to observe these instructions may result in the battery discharging beyond its end voltage, which poses a risk of leakage. If the battery in your instrument has leaked, have it removed immediately to
prevent damage to the instrument.
Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membrane. In the event of
contact with battery acid, rinse the aected area with plenty of water
and / or consult a doctor.
Start of operation
Replacing/inserting the battery
Open the battery compartment 11 . Carefully lift the battery compartment lid 10 o the battery compartment 11 with the aid of a pointed
object (e.g. a at-blade screwdriver).
Remove the old battery. You may have to use a pointed object to help you.

Insert a new battery into the battery compartment 11 , ensuring correct

polarity.
Replace the battery compartment lid 10 onto the battery compartment
11 and press it rmly down. You should feel and hear it click into place.
Operation

Pull the LCD clock 8 out of the pen holder 1 .

Pull the insulating strips out of the battery compartment in order to start
up the LCD clock 8 . A 6-second sequence will sound.
Push the LCD clock 8 into the pen holder 1 . Make sure that the slot
1a of the pen holder 1 grips the guide rails 8a of the LCD clock 8 .
Note: The LCD clock 8 has various modes:

Normal mode: The time, data and ambient temperature are displayed.
12/24-hour mode: 12/24-hour mode can be chosen and time and
date set.
Alarm mode: You can set a time for the alarm to go o.
Birthday reminder mode: The alarm can be set to remind you of
someones birthday.
Countdown mode: You can set a countdown of a maximum of
23 hours and 59 minutes.

Note: Press the decrease button 3 or the increase button 4 to make

adjustments in the various modes.
Tip: Hold the button in question down. This way, you can speed up the
adjustment of the values you wish to set. This rapid set-up process can be
used for all adjustment procedures. If you do not press any buttons within
60 seconds, the LC display will automatically return to the standard display.
Setting the 12/24-hour mode
Press the mode button 7 once to get to the selection range of the
12/24-hour mode.
Press the decrease button 3 or the increase button 4 to set the
12 or 24-hour mode.
Press the mode button 7 four times to return to normal mode.
Setting the time/date

Press the mode button 7 once to get to the 12 or 24-hour selection
range.
Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the hours.
Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the minutes.
Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the year.
Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the current month.
Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the current date.

Setting the alarm

Press the alarm button 6 to get to the alarm mode. Or you can press
the mode button 7 twice to get to the alarm mode.
Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the hours of the
time you wish to set the alarm for.
Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the minutes of the
time you wish to set the alarm for.
Press the set-up button 5 to be able to select one of 9 dierent alarms.
Press the mode button 7 three times to return to the normal mode.
If the SNOOZE function is switched o when the set alarm time is
reached, the selected alarm sounds for only one minute. Press any button to turn o the alarm.
If the SNOOZE function is switched on when the set alarm time is
reached, the selected alarm sounds. Press any button to turn o the
alarm. The alarm sounds again after three minutes. This process repeats
itself a total of four times. The alarm only switches itself o after the
fourth time.
You can also cancel the SNOOZE function prematurely by stopping
the alarm with the mode button 7 and then pressing the increase
button 4 .

longer appear in the LC display.
The SNOOZE function can only be switched on, if the alarm symbol is
showing in the LC display.
Switching the SNOOZE function on/o
With the alarm set (the alarm symbol is showing in the LC display),
press the increase button 4 to switch on the SNOOZE function. The
SNOOZE symbol appears in the LC display.
Press the increase button 4 again to switch o the SNOOZE function.
The SNOOZE symbol disappears from the LC display.

Switching the alarm o
Press the alarm button 6 to enter the alarm mode. Alternatively you
can press the mode button 7 2 x to enter the alarm mode.
Press the settings button 5 5 x. - : -- appears in the LC display.
Press the mode button 7 3 x to switch o the alarm. The alarm
symbol disappears from the LC display.

Setting a birthday

Press the mode button 7 three times to get to the birthday reminder
mode.

Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the year.
Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the month of the
birthday.
Press the set-up button 5 in order to be able to set the date of the birthday.
Press the mode button 7 twice to return to the normal mode.
Note: On the time and day set for the birthday, a birthday song will
sound for 5 minutes.
Setting/starting the countdown

Press the mode button 7 four times to get to countdown mode.
Press the set-up button 5 in order to start the countdown.
Press the mode button 7 once to return to the normal mode.
Note: When the set time has expired, an alarm will sound for 1 minute.
Setting C/F
Press the set-up button 5 to set C or F.
Switching the sound on/o
Press the decrease button 3 to switch the sound on or o.

Note: When you have switched the sound on, all 9 alarm sequences will
play in turn.

Do not under any circumstances use corrosive or abrasive cleaning

Stavljanje u pogon
Postavljanje/zamjena baterije
Otvorite baterijsko kuite 11 . Oprezno podignite poklopac baterijskog kuita 10 pomou iljatog predmeta (npr. izvijaa s prorezom)
sa baterijskog kuita 11 .
Izvucite istroenu bateriju. Ukoliko je potrebno rabite iljati predmet.
Umetnite novu bateriju sukladno ispravnoj polarizaciji, koja je navedena na baterijskom kuitu 11 .
Ponovno postavite poklopac baterijskog kuita 10 na baterijsko
kuite 11 i vrsto ga pritisnite. On e osjetno i zvuno zaglaviti.

Izvucite LCD-sat 8 iz kutije za olovke 1 .

Izvucite izolacijsku traku iz baterijskog kuita, kako bi LCD-sat 8
stavili u pogon. Zazvuati e sljednica od 6 sekundi.
Ugurajte LCD-sat 8 u kutiju za olovke 1 . Vodite rauna o tome, da
lijebovi 1a na kutiji za olovke 1 zahvate tranice 8a na LCD-satu 8 .
Uputa: LCD-sat 8 sadri razliite moduse:

Evitai contactul cu pielea, ochii i mucoasele. n cazul unui contact cu
acidul din baterie cltii locul respectiv cu mult ap i / sau apelai la
un medic!

Schimbarea / introducerea bateriei
Deschidei compartimentul de baterii 11 . Ridicai capacul compartimentului de baterii 10 cu ajutorul unui obiect ascuit (de ex.: o urubelni) de pe compartimentul de baterii 11 .

Modul de alarm: se poate seta o or de alarm.
Mod de anunare a zilelor de natere: pentru ziua de natere a
unei persoane se poate seta alarma pentru anunare.
Modul de numrtoare invers: se poate numrarea invers de la
maxim 23 de ore i 59 de minute.

efectua setri n diferitele moduri.

Batterien gehren nicht in den Hausmll!
Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpichtet, Batterien ordnungsgem
zu entsorgen!
Halten Sie die Batterie von Kindern fern, werfen Sie die Batterie nicht
ins Feuer, schlieen Sie die Batterie nicht kurz und nehmen Sie sie
nicht auseinander.
Bei Nichtbeachtung der Hinweise kann die Batterie ber ihre Endspannung hinaus entladen werden. Es besteht dann die Gefahr des Auslaufens. Falls die Batterie in Ihrem Gert ausgelaufen sein sollte, entnehmen
Sie diese sofort, um Schden am Gert vorzubeugen!
Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Haut, Augen und Schleimhuten. Bei
Kontakt mit Batteriesure splen Sie die betroene Stelle mit reichlich
Wasser ab und / oder suchen Sie einen Arzt auf!
Inbetriebnahme
Batterie austauschen/einsetzen
nen Sie das Batteriefach 11 . Heben Sie den Batteriefachdeckel 10

mit Hilfe eines spitzen Gegenstandes (z.B. eines Schlitzschraubendrehers) vorsichtig vom Batteriefach 11 ab.

Entnehmen Sie die alte Batterie. Nehmen Sie ggf. einen spitzen
Gegenstand zu Hilfe.
Setzen Sie eine neue Batterie gem den Polungsangaben in das
Batteriefach 11 ein.
Setzen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel 10 wieder auf das Batteriefach 11
und drcken Sie ihn fest. Er rastet sprbar und hrbar ein.
Bedienung

Ziehen Sie die LCD-Uhr 8 aus der Stiftebox 1 heraus.

Ziehen Sie den Isolierstreifen aus dem Batteriefach, um die LCD-Uhr 8
in Betrieb zu nehmen. Es ertnt eine 6-sekndige Sequenz.
Schieben Sie die LCD-Uhr 8 in die Stiftebox 1 hinein. Achten Sie
darauf, dass die Nuten 1a an der Stiftebox 1 in die Fhrungsschienen 8a der LCD-Uhr 8 greifen.
Hinweis: Die LCD-Uhr 8 verfgt ber verschiedene Modi:

Normal-Modus: Uhrzeit, Datum und Umgebungstemperatur werden
angezeigt.
12/24 Stunden-Modus: 12-/24-Stunden-Modus kann gewhlt,
Uhrzeit und Datum knnen eingestellt werden.
Alarm-Modus: Eine Alarmzeit kann eingestellt werden.

Geburtstags-Erinnerungs-Modus: Fr den Geburtstag einer

Person kann ein Alarm zur Erinnerung eingestellt werden.
Countdown-Modus: Ein Herunterzhlen von maximal 23 Stunden und
59 Minuten kann eingestellt werden.
Hinweis: Drcken Sie die Verringern-Taste 3 oder die Erhhen-Taste 4 ,
um in den verschiedenen Modi Einstellungen vorzunehmen.
Tipp: Halten Sie die jeweilige Taste gedrckt. So erreichen Sie ein beschleunigtes Einstellen der Werte. Diese Schnelleinstellung knnen Sie fr
alle Einstellvorgnge nutzen. Wenn Sie innerhalb von 60 Sekunden keine
Taste drcken, kehrt das LC-Display automatisch zur Standardanzeige zurck.
12-/24-Stunden-Modus einstellen
