The Music Department of River Bend Middle School hosted the 2nd Annual Chamber

Music Festival on Thursday, April 10. The program featured 6th, 7th, and 8th grade
students performing classical, contemporary, and student-composed works. Held in the
River Bend Library, the CMF featured 18 solo and small ensemble performances.

"The Music Faculty wanted to create an event that focused on the individual. Large
ensemble concerts are a wonderful display of teamwork, and the CMF provides students
with a venue to shine by themselves." - John Mills, Band Director

The program also included collaborations with musical family members, alumni, and
special performances by the River Bend Music Faculty and Principal Lacy.
