As a result of the public’s assistance through the media release of surveillance photos,
investigators have identified the woman previously reported to have passed
forged/stolen checks at the Albertson’s Store on 9/27/09 and 9/28/09.

The woman has been identified as Tammie Maldonado, 37 years old, 5’3” tall, 145
pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes. Maldonado is wanted for business burglary, check
forgery and identity theft.

Anyone with information regarding Maldonado’s whereabouts is encouraged to call


Detective Todd Brown at 326-3554.

The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in


identifying a female suspect wanted for burglary and passing forged/stolen
checks.

On 9/27/09, and 9/28/09, the female depicted in the attached surveillance photos
entered the Albertsons, 2691 Mt. Vernon Avenue, and purchased merchandise
using stolen checks for payment. The suspect appears to be Caucasian. She was
observed leaving in a white extended cab pick up which is also depicted in the
surveillance photos. Anyone with information regarding this suspect’s identity and/or
whereabouts is encouraged to call Detective Todd Brown at 326-3554
