Reflection for Standard #4 Instructional Strategies

Research has proven that there are lots of different pedagogical strategies that have been effective in
individualizing instruction for students with exceptional learning needs. It is the special educators
responsibility to select which combination of these strategies to try to individualize and differentiate
instruction in order to promote very active engagement and enhanced meaningful learning. Students
of the same age are clearly not alike in how they learn or their rate of learning. Therefore teahcers
