WEATHER & CLIMATE

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN

WEATHER AND CLIMATE?
WEATHER
Weather can change lots of times per
day. There can be, rain,
humidity,sun,wind,cloudiness all in the
same day. It changes very often. The
weather on places near the equator are
very hot, the temperate zone is not as
hot, ,and the polar zone is very cold.

CLIMATE
Climate is the average weather in a
place. The climate can take
hundreds, thousands, even millions
of years to change. It does not
change in one day like weather.
THINK ABOUT IT THIS WAY
CLIMATE IS WHAT
YOU EXPECT,
WEATHER IS WHAT
YOU GET!
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE
BETWEEN WEATHER & CLIMATE
The difference between
weather and climate is the
measure of time. Because
weather changes in very little
time, and climate takes a lot
of time to change.
