$50,000 Fund Raising Goal
Did you know that through Friends of
Friends Fighting Hunger last winter, a
total of $23,000 was raised
through help from com-
munity partners such as
you? With this past suc-
cess coupled with growing
demand across the Otter
Tail County food shelves,
we are increasing our ef-
fort, hoping to raise
$50,000.
Through the Minnesota Food Shelf
Match program your monetary dona-
tions to food shelves will be matched
soon after our event. In addition, vol-
unteers at the local food shelves can
impact the value of your donations by
2x to 3x through government buying
programs.

You can make a difference! Through
our partnership with United Way of Ot-
ter Tail County, Friends of Friends can
guarantee 100% of your contributions
will go to food shelf charities in Otter
Tail County.
Recognition for Donation
We wish to recognize all contributors
to our cause to the level the contributor
would seek. Join us for the Friends of
Friends Fighting Hunger event gala on
Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Thum-
per Pond Resort. This year, 250 tickets
will be sold for this event from around
the area. You will receive recognition at
the event followed by press coverage and
releases conducted in conjunction.
In some cases, donors do not wish to
call attention to their philanthropy. In
this case, we can minimize publicity of
your contribution according to your
wishes.
