Heather Stern
Communications Officer
Lippincott
4 Embarcadero Center
San Francisco, CA 9411
Dear Ms Stern,
I am writing in response to the Graphic Design Internship that was recently
posted online. As your position fits my background, talents, and career goals, I
was excited to learn about your opening at Lippincott.
I am currently a graphic design student with a few months left before I
graduate. Its been a long journey to finally reach this point of my education but
Im also ready to move on to a new chapter in my life. I want to show my
commitment and talent to your company and how I can communicate
effectively through my design. My education and work experience has taught
me how to be patient and committed to my career goals. My freelance work as
a graphic designer has prepared me to understand the level of professionalism
and confidence. I strive for two things in design: simplicity and clarity. Great
design is born of those two things. One of my favorite quotes from Lindon
Leader inspires me as a designer to strive for the best companies that believe
in simplicity and clarity. In the mean time, my goals are to continue to learn and
grow as a graphic designer for this position.
After reviewing your website, I would consider it an honor to work with you and
your team. I look forward to meeting with you to further discuss my
qualifications, portfolio, and what I can offer to Lippincott.
Thank you for your time and consideration,
Sincerely,
Jenny Vargas
