Read Their Lips
They fought for their rights
But were never heard
They protested to show the world that their love for the same sex could never be cured.
Walking down those streets while showing affection to their partners;
Kissing, hugging, walking hand in hand
Thats love, but they dont understand.
See for them being gay can be cured with treatment or religion
But it cant and never will.
God created certain people to love the same sex.
Being raised in a Catholic church you would think I would be against same sex marriage
Because America thinks that what is in the Bible is what we should believe in.
Not for me.
Being in love with the same sex is no different than loving someone who has the opposite of
what you have physically.
My brother once told me as a little girl that God made us all different
But that we were all born to love the same
He was right; my transgender brother showed me that loving a man was no different than
loving a woman because it was how he felt, how happy he was with his boyfriend.
So read their lips, hear what they have to say, and take a good look at how happy they are.
Because in the end its all the same love.
