Subject: Chile: Linguistic differences.
Since every country or region has its own language usage
we´ve decided to elaborate a list of some of the words that
are commonly used among chileans, and its respective
translation to uruguayan usage. Of course the official
language in Chile is Spanish, just like in Uruguay, but there
are very different words of chilean usage which we,
uruguayans, do not know of.

These are of course, some of the great variety of expressions used by chileans in
coloquial language. But they serve as a guide to tourists who do not know of the
spanish usage of chileans.
