-How did you get started to play football?

All my memories begin with football, and when I was three years old my parents took me to a
club of Constanta.At 11 Years already participated in two editions of the Cup of Hope, to
which I came out consecutively, best player and top scorer of the competition.
-You played in many big clubs and football has evolved steadily. What do you think about
modern football?
- Technique will always beat strength. Today there is a tendency to tie a player's technique
and technical tactics entire team.
- Which are coaches who have shaped you and influenced you the most?
My model is Johan Cruyff. When I signed with Barcelona in 1994, I went there because he
was a coach. Cruyff means spirit, courage, initiative, principles, personality and total football.
That's football I want to see him on my team. Otherwise, all the coaches I worked at Mandoiu
and Buckoszi to Iordanescu, Lucescu or Terim, they formed and shaped in a way. Each coach
brought more in my training plan as a sportsman, from Luceafarul(Evening Star), Farul
(Lighthouse), Sportul , Steaua and the national team. When I went outside I feel like I've
accomplished as a football player. I understand that football out what you did yesterday is no
longer valid today and we have to pass exams daily without living memories. In sport you
must always take over again, until the end of the career, accepting any challenge.

-What did he have particular the Golden Generation?`
Selection! Everyone in that generation were rigorously selected on the basis of serious,
trained and molded based on sound principles.
