Hi Albedro,

Seven years ago, I went on a trip to Ecuador. First, we traveled by car to Armenia, then, Pasto
and finally, to our destination Ecuador. I went to this country with my family; we went to a
village in Ecuador named Ibarra, to know the village, the people, their typical foods and the
colonial part. Afterward, we went to Quito to visit the "Middle of the World, and to see their
customs and dances of the place. Also, we went to Baos, a tourist spot visited by European
and American that stay in the border with Peru. There we went to hot springs, in which there
are most of the hotels of the sector; at night, we listened Andean music and went to "parties
of the carnival". We went to Esmeralda, to go to the beach and "Galapagos Islands". Finally,
we returned by car, at home.

Our trip was fun, but when we reached Ecuador, we were very tired. Throughout the trip,
while we were visiting several cities of Ecuador, it was really sunny. In the villages, people sold
some liquid, but the heat made us thirstier. Additionally, we do not bring an umbrella or a cap
to cover from the sun because we did not think the weather would be so hot.

From this bad experience, I learned that I need to have an umbrella, a cap and sun block with
me, to prevent my face from skin burns. Similarly, for a hot climate, I have to take plenty of
fluids to avoid dehydration because of lack of liquid in general. Water is essential to our lives
so I must be more careful next time.

For my next journey, it is necessary to remember that we should not bring car on a long trip
because it is exhausting, to buy things as souvenirs so we can remember parts of the trip and
to be prepared for the hot weather and always bring the essentials.

I hope to hear from you soon,

Regards,

Tatiana
