The 2009 Southeastern Conference Women’s Soccer Tournament returns to the
Orange Beach Sportsplex in Orange Beach, Ala. It will be seventh time that the facil- SEC Pts GD GS
ity has served as the host of the SEC Tournament, having hosted each event since the

Points System: A win counts as three points, a tie as one and a loss as zero points.
If a game is canceled, neither team will receive a point and the standings will be SEC Tournament Champions:
determined by average points per game. The two teams in each division with the Florida (8) - 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2007

Tie Breaker Procedure: The tournament will be seeded 1-8 regardless of division South Carolina (1) - 2009

following procedure, in the following order, will be used to break the tie:
1. Head-to-head competition;

3. Goals scored in all conference games; and
4. Coin flip or draw.
