Discontinued fire from the heart of a man

By: George Ramirez

Turbulent perplexity
Complimented with raging anxiety
Like a fire it burns
Consuming what’s left of inside of me

Simple man with a hand

Over towering the tender
Using his hand to demand
His most selfish desires

Like a fire it burns

On her face as it turns
As she falls I’m appalled
At his fault

Decay of a heart
From the fault of a man
From powerful to powerless
With the cuffs on his hands
