disabilities.
Section 504 Individuals:
Have a physical or mental impairment that
majorly impacts their day-to-day activities
Have a record of such impairment
Are regarded as having such an impairment


Adaptations to instructional or test material
without changing the target skill

Examples
Use of a calculator (grades 3-8)
Preferential seating
Colored overlays
Blank place markers
Pacing of Instruction
Etc.

Teachers must teach students to be
accepting of the diverse cultures within the
classroom.

Teachers must teach concepts as culturally
sensitive as possible.
