Military Knives

- The material used to make military knives is a stainless steel alloy used specifically for making
knives.
- The process for making the knives first involves cutting out the shape with a laser then popping
out all of the cut-outs. After this, the cut-outs are coated with a lubricant and are made holes
where the blade will pivot. The cut-outs are later put into grinders that begin to turn them into
blades, then put into a furnace to strengthen the blade. The handles are made later then put
together.
- All of this is done by machines up until the assembly of the knives.
