Dear Mr.

Jameson,

I am writing this letter to apply for the position of Economic Consultant inside your
company, with reference to your advertisement from The Daily Mail, appeared on the 15th of
December. I believe I possess all the skills and experience that you are looking for in an ideal
candidate for this post.
As you will see from the CV I have attached to this letter I have graduated the
Academy of Economic Studies two years ago and, since then I have been working for a very
well known company from my native city. In only two years, I managed to advance from a
simple Economist to the position of Director of the Economical Department, thing that proves
my dedication, motivation and enthusiasm for any challenging project. In addition, working
full-time and finishing my master degree improved significantly my time management and
organisational skills, things that are essential for the good progress of any company.
During the time I worked for the previous company, I was in charge of the planning,
designing and research departments. As a manager of these three departments my aim was to
find solutions for the problems generated by the production of goods and services. Also, as a
Director of the Economical Department, I was responsible to compile data related to the
productivity, employment, wages and profitability. So, I can say I am an expert regarding the
complex systems that distribute and produce goods and services. I am capable of finding
creative solutions for many economical problems, thing that makes me a very good candidate
for the Economic Consultant position.
From reading many reviews about your company, I am confident that this position
would fit me perfectly as I feel it is the time for me to make the next step and become part of
one of the best companies in our country. I am always keen on working closely inside any
challenging project. I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours Sincerely,
Mr. Gareth Barry
