Prologue

Hello! My name is Kierra Bishop. Born and raised in Tuscaloosa,Al. I have been a praise dancer in the last couple of
years. Now im an basketball player for Paul W. Bryant. I have been playing basketball since I was in the 4

grade going
crazy, now im a starter for Junior Varsity. My parents names are Latoyia Little and Anthony Bishop. I am an Honor Roll
student. With spare time I love to chill with friends, play games, hoop, and ride four-wheelers.
Whats In My Name?
My name is Kierra Bishop. Kierra meaning is "black; lord". Bishop means
overseer. I dont have a problem with my name . Its okay with me but my
mom was about to give me the most ghetto name ever. My mother almost
named me Mercedes Porsha Bishop , she wanted to name me after two
cars which was horrible and im happy she didnt honestly. My Great auntie
named me Kierra before I was born and she was in the hospital sick while I
was being born. She is dead now, im happy she named me and I barely
knew her but I miss her. My Family call me Key Key for short.









Personal Alphabet
If I had to describe myself using one word..
detail-oriented (adjective): paying attention to small things. I pay
attention to every little things and out the pieces together.
indecisive (adjective): unable to make decisions easily. I cant decide
on anything I just say I dont know. I cant even decide whats my
favorite color.
insomnia (noun): the inability to sleep. I sleep all the time. I stay
going to sleep quick or for a long period of time.

I dont know the exact day but I know I was about 7 years
old. I was at my auntie house and we were just barbequing
and she lived right across the street from the part and we
were just eating. Out of no where we hear gun shots then we
look at the park . we see this teenager shooting in the park
upwards and everyone ran in the house and my mother told
me to get in the car and to find out it was locked was
horrible.


On July 4
th
, 2011 my cousins and I were lighting firecrackers
in Fosters, AL. Where my family grew up. We lit fire crackers
in beer bottles on the rocky road. As we lit the firecracker
the bottle started falling by that time it was already lit and
pointing toward the porch where all my aunties were. The
firecracker shot and my aunts started screaming and ran in
the house then you heard the sound of the firecracker pop.
We ran on the side of the house though.

Room Sweet Room
My Room is unique to me because I have a picture of Tupac on my
wall in a frame. Kids my age do not like the old school rap or that
old skool hip hop. Its art and people dont look at it as art when its
actually more than just art. Teens my age wont understand till they
do their research. Also in my room I have my basketball awards in
my room which are my babies and I love them. I worked very hard
to be where im at now in life. A lot of people arent athletic like
me in basketball.









Personal Metaphors
1.Animal- if I was an animal I would be a Pit-bull because I can
change on you quick if you fake.
2.Car- If I was a car I would be a F-150 because I feel like even
though im small im still big in the heart & a F-150 is big and cocky
truck.
3.Article Of Clothing- If I was an article of clothing then I would be
lik the Cali dressing type.
4.Day of The Week- If I was a day of the week I would be Friday. I
would work then have fun.
5.Food- If I was some food I would be rotail dip because everyone
loves rotail dip.
6.Musical Instrument- I would be a Trumpet or symbols because
they are the loudest instrument.

The Ultimate All-Purpose Excuse
Hey Mrs. Lee. I am so sorry im late. Its really not my fought. See
what had happened was I was on my way to class from all the way
down the other hall and as I was walking to your class my friend
was bleeding and I hear a lot of people yelling and I found out it
was a fight in the hall and some girl brought a knife to prepare for
the fight. So as she was walking toward me crying, I turned around
and bring her to the bathroom while yelling Mr. hails name. he
came in and helped out. Then as I was walking they were still
trying to beak up the fight and I couldnt get around them so I
waited till they got everyone and it was blood all over the floor. As
I look on the floor its blood on my shoes so I went and cleaned
them then I came to your class so that is the reason why I am super
late.

Look Who I Look Up To

Tupac- I look up to Tupac because he made his life from being poor to chasing a dream and making
money. Shakur was raised by his mother Afeni Shakur. She was actually in jail on bombing charges
during his pregnancy with Tupac. She was later acquitted in the case. He had no contact with his
biological father, Billy Garland, until he was an adult. He was raised poor and in the ghetto. As a
teenager, Shakur attended the Baltimore School for the Arts, where he took acting and dance classes,
including ballet. While living in Baltimore, he discovered rap and began performing as MC New York.
In the late 1980s, Shakur and his family moved to the West Coast. He joined the Oakland, California-
based hip-hop group Digital Underground, which earlier had scored a hit with the song "The Humpty
Dance." Shakur appeared on two of the group's recordings1990's This Is an EP and Sons of the P
before going solo.
Michael Jordan- I look up to Michael Jordan because he worked hard for his dreams. As a youngster,
Michael immediately became interested in sports. However, it was baseball not basketball that was
his first love. He would play catch in the yard with his father, who loved baseball. He soon started to
play basketball to try and follow in the footsteps of his older brother, Larry, whom he idolized
growing up. At Laney High School, as a sophomore, he decided to try out for the varsity team but was
cut because he was raw and undersized. The following summer, he grew four inches and practiced
tirelessly. The hard work paid off as he averaged 25 points per game in his last two years and was
selected to the McDonald's All-American Team as a senior. Following high school, he earned a
basketball scholarship from North Carolina University where he would play under legendary coach
Dean Smith. In his first year, he was named ACC Freshman of the Year. He would help lead the
Tarheels to the 1982 NCAA Championship, making the game-winning shot. After winning the Naismith
College Player of the Year award in 1984, Jordan decided to leave North Carolina to enter the NBA
draft. Although he decided to leave college early, he would later return to the university in 1986 to
complete his degree in geography. In the 1984 NBA draft, he was selected with the third overall pick
by the Chicago Bulls. As a rookie for the Bulls, he made an immediate impact, averaging an amazing
28.2 points a game, including six games where he scored 40+ points.





Remembering the Child
My dads favorite memory when I was younger was when he first
thought me how to ride a four-wheeler. When I tried to learn on
my own, I ran into a tree and my father started laughing like it just
so funny. Nothing was funny so my dad got on the four-wheeler and
was driving fast while I was holding on screaming to the top of my
lungs for my momma but she was in my grandmas house. Then
about two weeks later I was doing the same he was doing and
popping wheelies.

My Grandma and Auntie favorite memory of me was when we were
in Detroit . At this restaurant I was sittings in the booster seat and
two white women passed by and I started singing who let the dogs
out and my auntie and grandma fell out laughing. I was bout 3.







One Medium Suitcase

Memorable Event
One memory I have this year that is outstanding is our
JV Girls game! We are 3-0. We have won all of our
games so far but the best was when we were losing
against Central 5-12 in the second quarter. In the 4
th

quarter, 2 minutes on the clock, we were losing by 3
points. So we were on defense and Leslie got the
rebound and threw it to Chelsey . Chelsey threw it to
Kiara and she laid the ball up and the girl fouled so
we were losing by 1 point. All Kiara had to do was
make this free throw and she did. So were tied with 10
seconds on the clock. The point guard for central
dibbled down and Chelsey stripped her ball and passed
it back to Kiara then she did the same thing and got
another foul. So were winning by 3 then she shot her
free throw and we won by 3 points.




The Perfect Present
The perfect present from Ms. Lee would be
nothing because she is already the best and I
ask for nothing less.




















How to Pimp

You get two boys. They are going to play you for your goodies so you play
all of them. Tellem you love them and dont mean it. Let them think your
stupid like most of these girls. Never save their name in your phone or you
will get caught up. Never save photos of your boos without having a photo
vault.














Are You Hungry?
My favorite meal is when my
granddad cooks fried hog moggs
macaroni green beans and some
sweet bread. It tastes so good. I
dont know how he make it but
one thing I do know is that it be
good as I dont know what.




Lessons I Learned After It Was Too Late

One thing I learned late is when I trusted my friend. The will turn
on you when you least expect it. No matter how long yall been
cool, people can back stab you. Since me and her supposed to be
good people, I thought I could trust her around this boy I talk to
but then a week later I found out something happened and after it
did she was all in my face laughing and hsving a good time and I
didnt know it went down until I looked in her phone an d read
some messages from the dude I tlk to and I expect him to cross me
cause he is a boy but the fact that you been my friend since we
were in the 6
th
grade is what made me mad. Also the fact that your
letting a boy come between us is worse.so I cut her off and me sand
her arent cool this day and she messed with the wrong one cause I
know her secrets







Advice to the Young

Hello Young Ladies, I want to talk to yall today about choosing
your friends wisely. Before you meet a person watch and look to
see how they do their friend because they will do you the same way
they do them. If you have a good bond with your friend dont let
ANYONE come between it. Be one of the bestfriend you can be or
just be alone lik me. Im alone but I have many friends. We are
working basically on being wrong to another person that didnt do
anything to you. If you feel your best friend shouldnt be doing
something then stand up for yourself and tell her she shouldnt be
doing it. Help her out. Dont get mad at her because she will
eventually feeling a bad vibe from you. High school isnt a joke
period. A lot of childish stuff happens.







Futures -- Fantasy and Fact

In ten years, I see myself happily married to Bj. We will
have the coolest relationship you have ever seen. We would
have one of those sports related relationships where we both
wear sweat pants going for runs in the park. Playing
football and basketball. Just down to earth cooling type of
relationship. Nothing less and nothing more.
If I continue what Im doing now then In 10 years, I would
be graduating college with a diploma. Also, signing to the
wnba Atlanta dream team. Or by now I would be owning my
own business. I dont know what would it be but Im owning
something I my life. It also would be a possibility I could be
a football wife. Coming to every game supporting my thug .
I would have a little birthing in the NFL. His name is Brian
Robinson. I would be supporting him like a big sister been
doing.
To me there is no differences. I can make both come true
honestly. Well on my half I can cause all I got to do is work
hard and be determined.

Conclusion
If I was graduated and I ask someone how I use to be they would
say. I was crazy cool and funny because its just me. I brighten
everyones day all the time. If someone sat they womt be sad for
long but one thing about me is I never to stuff from anyone. If
something was said I wasnt doing to walk back and buck.
