WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ABOUT EARLY MARRIAGES IN MALAYSIA?
Early marriage is common in Malaysia. Some cases it was because they were
forced by their parents as the girl is pregnant out-of-wedlock. There are a few of early
marriages that can be considered as successful marriage but it is undeniable that most
of early marriages did not last long. There are certain factors why this happened. First, it
is because both husband and wife are in their teen years. They are not matured enough
to tackle a problem. Usually, the problem rise when they have communication problems.
When they have problem, they do not sit and discuss about it but pointing fingers to one
another. Next, because they are still in their teen years, they do not have stable financial.
This is even hard if they are expecting a child. Usually, early marriage ends up as
problem and not as problem solver.
