Hello, I am writing in response to your Illustration ad on Craigslist. I have been
interested in illustrating childrens books for a long time. I loved the excerpt from your
story and already have several ideas to convey your story in pictures. I would love to
illustrate your book because I think the story is good and would like to contribute. The
experience would be great.
I have volunteered at a library where I worked with young children with crafts and story
time. I am familiar with what they enjoy. I am also a qualified artist, winning several
awards for it. I can work quickly within a time line but quality will always be the number
