You have to do this while you still have some juice in your playbook.

First while the playbook is on hold down the power button for 20 seconds... the
playbook should turn off.
After 20 seconds release the power button and wait 10 seconds.
Now press the power button 1 time.
After the playbook powers up plug in your charger and presto! Playbook now charg
