CHILDHOOD MEMORIES

The most memorable memory in my childhood is the day when I

watched the Superman's ilm! and I"m sure I will ne#er or$et it% I must
ha#e been about nine or ten at that time% I could hardly contain my
e&citement watchin$ all those impressi#e powers that Superman had
and maybe my ima$ination loated in such a cra'y way that I elt utterly
absorbed into the mo#ie%
Since that day I ha#e $rown up ha#in$ really #i#id dreams o bein$ able
to ly! ta(in$ o rom the $round and loo(in$ mysel $oin$ up past the
trees and loatin$ close to the $round% They were so real that I belie#ed
them! and wal(ed around all day thin(in$ I had this secret power no one
else had and that it was really special% )lthou$h it is widely (nown that
humans can not ly! I really belie#ed I could and I was #ery proud o it%
)s Superman did in the ilm! I ne#er told my secret to anyone and I
always learned to see thin$s rom a dierent point o #iew% Only as I $ot
older did I reali'e that I must ha#e been dreamin$ and wasn't really
lyin$% I I had been dreamin$ somethin$ less ob#iously impossible! I
probably would ne#er ha#e reali'ed that my dreams weren't real%
*hat I'#e disco#ered rom my e&perience was a number o e&tremely
positi#e impressions which ha#e probably turned me into the artist I am
nowadays! an artist who understands and accepts the daily challen$es
in#ol#ed in its +ob! sometimes real! sometimes ima$inary%
