Mankind at its most desperate is often at its best
Bob Geldof.

Bob went to a private primary catholic school and went to Black Rock College. He was bullied at school, for his lack of rugby skills he
showed. In 1975 Bob travelled to Canada to study as a music journalist. Also in 1975 he became the lead singer of the punk rock band,
The Boomtown Rats. By 1978 the had achieved their first U.K. hit single The Rat Trap. In 1981 he was invited to a concert for Amnesty
which sowed a seed of future ideas.

In 1984 Bob watched a news report on the famine in Ethiopia and teamed up a band BandAid to raise money for the course. Geldof
established the pop band Aidtrust in 1984. Aidtrust raised a whopping 8 million dollars through the record Do They Know Its Christmas,
for the people in Africa that suffer from poverty.

In 1985 Aidtrust did concerts around the world and raised a mind blowing 48 million dollars

20 years later when Bob went back to Africa he still found many social problems and famine as he saw in 1984, as a result he decided to
organise 8 more concerts in attempt to fix the problem.

At the 2005 Britain Awards he was honoured with a lifetime achievement. Bob was granted a man of title by Queen Elizabeth the ||. He
also earned the Nobel Peace Prize. We life in a broken world which has never been healthier, wealthier or bizarrely, free of conflict, but
some 500km from here they die want. Its not only intellectually absurd but also morally repulsive Bob Geldof said in his acceptance
speech.

Bob Geldof lives by the quote of Oscar Romero, aspire not to have more but to be more. Geldof has dedicated his life to help others.
