Moon Story
People make up stories to tell why things are the way they
are. This story is about the moon.
The Stolen Moon
Bear tied up the moon in a bag and hid it under his bed.
Raven wanted the moon to shine, so he told Bear so many
stories that soon Bear fell asleep. Then Raven found the
bag. He threw the bag into the sky and told the moon to
shine. Bear woke up and told the moon not to shine. So
now, on some nights the moon shines and on other nights
there is no moon at all.
