ASTM A516 GRADE 65

Description
ASTM A5 16 Grade 65 is steel that offers excellent performance in lower ambient
temperature service, has good weld-ability and excellent notch toughness. This is an
excellent choice for pressure vessels and boiler fabrication. This steel offers a greater yield
and tensile strength when compared to the ASTM A516 Grade 60.
Application
Used throughout the oil, petrochemical and gas industry, the steel is also found in sour
services and wet HS applications (where the steel is HIC tested).
