The advantages given to the Soc's were unfair because they had better or easier things to work with making it harder for
the greasers to win any of the completions. The advantages and disadvantages really made me think about how these same
things apply to people in really life and how they really make there live much easier but also much harder in different
way for both types of people. The lesson that can be learned from this in real life is that is not always fair and most of
the time in never will be whether it is your favor or not. Some of the advantages we get in Tiburon is that we have a very
affluent town with good school but a disadvantage is we are connected to the rest of the world in being able to see the
world in there shoes with there different life style and living conditions they have.

Stereotyping is every where and it can lead to violence because when you take assumption and it is not fact about
them and then they judge them and say thing that may not be true and then other will also judge them until the rumor
is passed around and it is possible that the person that the rumor is being spread about find out and get mad. Once they
find out who has been spreading the rumor they sometimes resort to violence and harm the person that mad up the
rumor or they sometimes spread more rumors about the other person get back at them and then both people end up hurt
and misunderstood. In the outsiders there are two types of people there are Socs the preppy upper class kid and the
greasers who are poor and are the troublemakers. Both classes dislike each they stereotype each other and don't
really get to know each other which make them go at each other all the time and they end up lashing out at each
other and they don't even have a good enough reason why.

I were in the case that dally was in with Pony boy and Jonny I would do the more honest and noble thing and helped them with
police because they were being attacked and the Socs could have just a easily killed Pony as Jonny did to Bob. I wouldnt give
them a gun and money to go up to the country to keep them away from the cop because nothing good could happen to them after
they run away from the law. I they could just stop to think and consider the possibility and consciousness of running from the
cops and even your own problems they should face what they have down with dignity and pride or else that just makes them
cowards. Though the option like Pony was saying They put people in the electric chair for this! that is likely not true a case
of murder of one person to defend the life of one person and yourself so I think that Ponyboys mind was just clouded and need
to take a long time to think.

What Robert Frost meant when he wrote Nothing Gold can Stay was that in life the good things in life will
end. This poem applies to the story because like with the sunrise that Pony and Johnny or the night that Ponyboy and
Cherry spend together they all end. This relates to the part about friendship and how people should stick up fro each
other. At one moment Johnny and Pony are having the night of their lives the next they are being mugged and Johnny
becomes a murder this just shows you how quickly things could turn for the worst. This is supposed to be a poem that
makes you think and really makes you look for the meaning of it. It is a story that gives you the truth of life and not
much more yet it make you really wonder is their anything in life that good that really does last forever.

A hero is a person that does something for another that helps them in a noble way. When some
one say that another person is a hero it could mean many thing. It could mean that they help
them on a homework question or they literally saved that person life but it is normally
situational. Dally showed when he talk and saves Johnny from the burning church is that he
really does care about people other than himself. I do believe that he would have saved
Ponyboy or Darry but it depend on the Soc because they are not nice to him but he would saved
any member of the group greaser because they are friend and part of the same gang so they stick
up for each other.

thought to have been "hoous" that cause tiouble anu Baiiy uoes not want to be seen
that way. I uon't think he woulu evei switch anu he uoes not think of it much but he
woulu like to be a "Soc" if it weien't foi Ponyboy anu Souapop.
