On behalf of the Community Health Nurses Initiatives Group (CHNIG) of
Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO), I am pleased to inform you
that you have been selected as one of the successful applicants for the CHNIG
Professional Development Bursary. This bursary will support your attendance at
the 9
th
National Community Health Nurses of Canada Conference: June 2-4,
2014, Ottawa, ON.
We are pleased to support your dedicated efforts in advancing community health
nursing. Please note that the bursary is available to cover up to $1000.00 of
expenses related to your registration, air travel and / or hotel accommodations. It
is important that you keep all of your receipts for these items as they will need to
be submitted together with a CHNIG expense form in order to receive your
reimbursement. Receipts must be submitted to the treasurer by Friday, July 4,
2014. Money will be reimbursed on receipt of a brief summary outlining your
experiences and learning from attendance at the conference. This can be
forwarded to MemberBenefits@CHNIG.org.

If you have not already done so, please consider applying for the Nurse
Education Initiative (NEI), through the RNAO, as you may eligible for further
funding through this initiative.
