Katheryn Ann Brezina is a sweet, gentle, beautiful girl of seven years old who is a local resident of the
Fayette/Coweta area. On March 3rd, 2014, doctors discovered a brain tumor the size of a golf ball in
the back of her head. They completely removed the tumor on March 5th and diagnosed the growth as
Medulloblastoma, which is an aggressive cancer. After spending 24 days in the hospital, the family
(herself, 4 siblings, and her parents) lived in Houston, Texas for 5o days in order for Katheryn to
receive Proton Radiation Treatment at MD Anderson Hospital. Now home, Katheryn will undergo 50
weeks of chemotherapy treatment to battle this malignant cancer.
