Whats been happening?

Last week we started our summative assessments for our UOI. The
students formed groups to work on their stories. Some students
decided to retell familiar stories, while the others were engaged in
creating their own story.

The students discussed the setting and the characters of their story.
This week we will continue this summative assessment. The K2
students will start to create props, finger puppets or illustrate the
pictures for their stories. Finally they will present their story to their
audience. Teachers have observed that the children are able to
handle the puppets in a better manner than in the first semester.
Some children are using different voice tones to depict various
characters.

We would like to thank all the parents for coming to the Student-led
conferences and celebrating their childs development and success
throughout the year. We really enjoyed this special time with you and
our students.

In just a few weeks we will be on summer holidays. We can
recommend some fun and safe educational websites for your children
to explore during the holidays. Please check our home page
