Re: iCON Testwork and Scale-Up

Dear Sirs:

In light of the recent testwork performed at Cerro Corona, questions have been raised regarding scale-up of
data obtained with the Falcon iConcentrator (iCON). The iCON has been designed by Falcon Concentrators
and is based on the design of the industrial Falcon Semi-Batch (SB) centrifugal gravity concentrator. The
concentrating components of the iCON are of the same design as the SB concentrators.

Because the iCON and SB concentrators share the same design basis, the metallurgical operation of the
two machines will be identical under the same operating conditions. However, the SB concentrators are
constructed to operate at up to 200 Gs whereas the iCON is only able to operate at 120 Gs. Falcon has
proven that fine gold recovery improves as G-forces increase so the SB concentrator will also be able to
recover gold that is too fine to be recovered in the iCON.

If you have any questions about the material presented in this letter please do not hesitate to contact me
directly at Falcons head office in Canada, or Ing. Jose Palomino in Lima, Peru.

Best regards,

Ing. Andrew Gillis
