Stephen Mandel Endorses Jim Prentice for Leader

(Edmonton) Former Edmonton Mayor and longtime PC supporter Stephen Mandel
announced that he will be supporting Jim Prentice for leader of the Progressive
Conservative Association of Alberta.

During brief remarks at a restaurant in downtown Edmonton on Tuesday morning, Stephen
Mandel declared his support for Prentice and explained what factored into this important
decision.

Jim Prentice is the right man to lead the province and create the kind of prosperity that
Albertans expect and deserve, said Stephen Mandel. Jim has laid out a strong vision for
our province with his 5 key principles. He has the courage to make tough decisions and a
track record of taking a collaborative approach to leadership.

Jims career in the private and public sectors has demonstrated proven leadership working
with all Albertans including with municipalities, cultural communities and First Nations in the
province positions him well to ensure Canadas fastest-growing province can reach its full
potential.

Im honoured to have Stephen as part of my team, said Jim Prentice. We have put
together an exceptional campaign focused on what matters to Albertans. Stephen brings
with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the issues being faced by Edmontonians
and municipalities across this province.

Jim Prentice will be spending the coming months on the campaign trail meeting with
