Claim: The United States needs to help China preserve what is left of the Giant
Panda habitat.

My point of view Opposing point of view
The Panda will be saved if the habitat is
saved.
- Evidence Forest destruction also
reduces pandas access to the bamboo
they need to survive. The Chinese
government has established more than 50
panda reserves, but only around 61% of
the countrys panda population is
protected by these reserves.

Pandas are cute but not that does not
mean they should be saved over other
animals, that are more important to the
eco-system.
-Evidence Researches estimate that
were losing as many as 27,000 species
every year, about 300 times the pre-
human extinction rate. Triage advocates
argue that we have no legitimate hope of
saving all of the worlds engangered
creatures, so we ought to think seriously
about how to allocate our resources for
the greatest effect.
