Assignment: E-Book story

Talking about the developmentally effective approaches in teaching that helps in
positively influencing on childs development. E-book assignment shows some of the elements
that this standard includes. This assignment for making a story for children by using the
technology. I used a PowerPoint program to make this story. I scanned the story and recorded it by
children voice according to the characters. This makes children interact with each other to record
the speech of the characters of the story.
I believe that stories are very important and can be used as an effective method in
teaching. But before this assignment, I thought reading stories needs just some reading skills and
the voice effects for example; loud and quiet sounds with some facial expression. I didnt use an E-
book for children before doing this assignment, which I found as an amazing teaching tool. It
provides the activity the enjoyment children in different age need.
I also found this assignment very important to enrich our use of technology as a teaching
tool. I learned the importance of choosing the story to the level of the child and the well prepared
to the activity of having the story in different methods make the child happy to read stories and
encourage them to think of reading. In addition, this assignment develops childrens oral language,
social interaction and the individual characteristics and needs when they cooperate with teacher in
choosing the story, scan it, record it and show it by using a technology tool.
