Dear Parents and Students,
We are so excited to have you in third grade next year! We just couldnt wait to get you started on all of the WONDERFUL things you will learn. To keep up all of the hard work you have done this year, and will do next year the third grade teachers put together a book list to keep your brain active over the summer. You/Your child must: 1. Read at least 3 books from the list 2. Fill out the reading log 3. Pick 2 books to answer the reflection questions on 4. Pick one book to complete a project on: There are directions for each project included in the packet. If you need any more directions and/or templates you can visit this website (click on the 3 rd grade projects): https://sites.google.com/a/palmbeachschools.org/area-4/area-4-summer-reading- projects-page
**Remember to use complete sentences and appropriate punctuation such as capital letters and periods. Also, make sure the book is appropriate for your childs reading level, and that they have not read the book before. We want to introduce them to new, exciting literature.
