Street Restrictions and Closings for Event in Downtown Omaha

In conjunction with the scheduled event 40th Annual Omaha Summer Arts Festival, several
downtown streets will be closed to traffic. In addition, detours and traffic flow changes will be
implemented to assist in traffic flow around the downtown and Old Market areas. The following
streets will be closed on the dates listed:
o Farnam St. from 10

to 13
th
Streets will be closed beginning Thursday, June 5, 2014 at
12:00 noon through Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 11:59 pm.
o 11
th
Street at Farnam St. to block south (alley) will be closed beginning Thursday, June
5, 2014 at 12:00 noon through Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 11:59 pm.
o 13
th
St. from Harney to Douglas Streets will be closed beginning Thursday, June 5, 2014
at 6:00 pm through Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 11:59 pm.
o Farnam St. from 13
th
to 15
th
Streets will be closed beginning Thursday, June 5, 2014 at
6:00 pm through Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 11:59 pm.
o 14
th
St. from Harney to Douglas Streets will be closed beginning Thursday, June 5, 2014
at 6:00 pm through Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 11:59 pm.
Metro Bus riders are encouraged to call (402) 341-0800 for more information about how the
street closing will affect their routes.
