TRIBUTE

In the government of Spanish Colonial our

ancestor need to pay or give tribute weather in cash, in
kind installment paying tributes is one kind of
accepting or recognition of the Filipinos that they are
loyal to the King of Spain.
In this period its very helpful in our ancestors
because paying tributes is one of the way to become
more civilize improve in many aspect like build a lot of
churches bridges and government buildings and lives of
many people all 16 to 60 years old need to pay a tribute
except those ill people and disable like paralyzed , blind.
TAXES: In terms of taxes divided into three kinds
1. DIEZIMOS PREDIALES one-tenth of the produce
product harvest to the land.
2. DONATIVO de ZAMBOANGA- a kind of tax used to
conquest of Jolo
3. VINTA- this kind of taxes paid by those people live in
provinces near-cost of western Luzon for the
defense of the cost from Muslim pirates , who raided
in island of Visaya and Luzon for slave in our
present time identical like human trafficking that
they need to sell in their overseas trading . If they
want protection they need to pay Vinta tax to
defense their territory and secure their lives by the
help of Spanish official who received taxes.
Our ancestors depend in Spanish Colonial
government abuses their oppositions to get more
taxes
We envy attitudes to Spanish officials who taught us
to be corrupt.
