Reflection:
While I was reading I came up on this word knowing it had to do something
regarding the patients treatment. Even though I knew that I wasnt able to get a clear
understanding of the word. Since Im not familiar with medical terms. I ended up
believing that the patient was going to receive many vaccinations. Leading me to believe
that intravenous meant a large amount. Though that was not the case and it actually
means injection into a vein. After looking up the word it gave me a better
understanding of the reading.
