Dear Parents,

This last week of school will go by very quickly. We will be walking to RIS
tomorrow, June 10
th
for the Third Grade Orientation. We will leave around 8:30
and return at 9:30. This is for the students only. Tomorrow your child may also
bring in a board game to use during Cooperative Games time during the day.
Thursday, June 12
th
our last day of school will be early dismissal at 10:40. It is also
Flag Day so we are asking students to wear red, white, and blue.

It has been a real joy having your child in class this year. Each student developed
and mastered so much during the year. I am very proud of each student and all
that they accomplished. Your child should continue reading over the summer and
practice math skills. The children will be able to continue using RAZ Kids at
www.raz-kids.com and IXL.com. Another site for summer reading is the
Tumblebooks program at http://www.usafelibraries.org/kids/summerread-
home.php . I do want to thank you all for your continued support and
