Six Steps that Make a Difference

Hello there. This is Bob Proctor with Six Minutes to Success again. How are you today?
Ive got a great concept that you and I and everybody we know can use. Earl
Nightingale said, Experts claim that it is possible to learn a definite system of problem
solving that will fit most situations. Instead of jumping from one thing to another, think
through each problem and its possible solutions before you do anything about it.
Theres 6 steps. Now Im going to ask you to really think about this. Watch this particular
message a few times and jot these 6 steps down because they can make a big
difference. Some people go on for ages with a problem they never solve.

1. Define your problem clearly on paper. Clearly define it on paper so that if I
picked it up and read it, I would see it as clear as you do.
2. List the obstacles standing in the way of your solving it. List them all.
3. List people or other idea sources that might help solve your problem. This is a
great area for a mastermind group to go to work.
4. List as many possible courses of action as you can think of and take your time on
this. See, theres many different solutions. Consider them all.
5. Try to visualize the results of each course of action. And last but not least,
6. Choose the course of action that seems best to you and then pursue it. Stay with
it long enough for it to work or to prove that it cant. If it finally doesnt, choose
another.

Now this is the scientific way to solve problems. If you write that down and follow it; and
share it with some of your friends, if youre an employee, share it with them. Type it out
and give it to them. Spend a few minutes thinking about those six steps now. This is Bob
Proctor and thank you.
