Units
What units does ABAQUS use? ABAQUS has no inherent set of units.
How do I set the units in ABAQUS? You cannot.

It is the Users responsibility to use a consistent set of units.
Choose the units for Length and Force
If the analysis is time dependent then select the unit for Time.

Example : Length m Structural
: Force - N Analysis
: Time - Sec

Then the units for all the other quantities are derived from it.

Modulus, stress Pascals
Density - kg/m3

Example : Cantilever - Plate
