Master Math 2

Master Math two is a class that helps improve students mathematical
understandings. This class is provided to prepare us for the more advanced
math that we will see in our future classes here at BACS and even in college.
Master Math two is also like an extra math class that students take to help
get the school higher proficiency results in the NWEA test as well as
NECAP, PSAT, and SATs. In this class we would usually get packets of
various different types of math problems, ones wed be likely to see on the
NECAPs and SATs. In these packets one would see geometry, algebra and
even calculus level questions.
My math skills have dramatically strengthened thanks to Master Math
two. They have strengthened in area in Geometry that I was having trouble
in like square roots and the Pythagorean theorem. Even though my Algebra
class from the year before had taught me linear equations, this year we
reviewed and mastered how to solve difficult problems. I think all this extra
review on Math is the reason why I did improve on my Math section of the
NWEAs in which I started off in the beginning of the year with a score of a
230 and ended the year with 242. Which means that my percentile jumped
from a 38% to a 58%.
In Math this year I feel like it was a very successful year for me
because I got good grades in both Master Math Two and in Geometry. The
reason why I feel that I have had such a successful year is because when
ever I did not comprehend a subject in Geometry, I could always go to Tony
to help and explain to me how to understand it in a way that was convenient
for me. This is why I feel very confident about taking the NECAP and
SATS next year!
