Domicile Requirements

1- A candidate who is domicile of the State of Uttar Pradesh but not claiming for any
reserved category is eligible for admission at all the Institutions against available
General (OPEN) seats. Such Candidate has to produce prescribed domicile certificate
(Format no -11) at the time of counselling.
A candidate who has passed the qualifying examination from an Institution located
outside Uttar Pradesh, who is not claiming for any reservation category, and that,
her/his parents are domicile of Uttar Pradesh, is eligible for admission under
General (OPEN) seats. Such Candidates has to produce prescribed domicile certificate
as per Format no -9, at the time of counselling.
2- A candidate, who is domicile of the State of Uttar Pradesh and belongs to Schedule
Caste/Schedule Tribe, has to produce prescribed certificate as per Format 3 at
the time of counselling.
3- A candidate who is domicile of the State of Uttar Pradesh and belongs to Other
Backward Classes category has to produce prescribed Certificate as per Format 4,
at the time of counselling.
4- A candidate who is not domicile of the State of Uttar Pradesh is not eligible to claim
for any reservation category. Such candidate is eligible for admission only under
General (OPEN) seats. Such Candidates have to produce prescribed domicile
certificate as per Format 8 at the time of counselling.
