Grading Information


Minimum progress

In order to earn a certificate of participation a minimum progress of 80% in all elements and
quizzes is necessary.


Homework

From chapter 2 on, each chapter has a homework which will help you to deepen your
understanding of the course contents. The homework will be p2p graded which means students
grade other students. This option allows us to have open questions instead of multiple choice.
The homework is not mandatory but we recommend using it as a way to practice and to test
yourself. Especially open questions will make you look at course contents from different angles
and provide opportunities for discussion.


Exam

There will be no final exam for this course.


Certificate

The certificate will state that you have participated in the course.
It will, however, also state that the identity of the participants has not been validated.
No credits, grades or other means of stating a successful participation are earned at this time.
This might be possible in a later course, when proper and trustworthy participant identification
processes have been set up.
