Trade Description
Graphic designers are experts in visual communication, they use
things such as colours, photographs, illustrations, and many more.
Many Graphic Designers specialize in many different areas such as
consumer product packaging and web design.
It can take a long time to design the product and it can also take a
team of graphic designers to design it.
Graphic designers also depend on computer programs such as
photoshop, illustrator, and many more.
Expected hours per day
The expected hours per day for a graphic designer is 8 hours a day,
that being said so 8 hours a day is a regular time period for a
graphic designer.

Earning Potential
There are 3 levels of a graphic designer and also three earnings.
The first level is Junior Graphic Designer and they make $25,000
to $35,000 a year.
The second level is Intermediate Graphic Designer and they make
$30,000 to $45,000 a year.
The third level is Senior Graphic Designer and they make $50,000
to $70,000 a year or more.

The type of education required is a course that develops your
reading and writing skills.
Some business courses can be good like marketing and business
management because these courses can assist you with this
career.

available.
Such as Niagara College, this college has a course where you can
do your education on graphic designing.
Many other post secondary schools have this program available as
well.
Qualifications Granted After Education
The qualifications granted after completing your post secondary
education is your advanced diploma.
Your advanced diploma can help you get your job as graphic
designer.

Possible employers in the peel area
There are many employers in the peel area such as a UPS store in
Mississauga looking for a graphic designer. The city of Brampton
are also looking for a graphic designer with at least 2 years of
experience.
There are many other employers in the peel area and also much
more employers through out Ontario.
