THREE List also your types of research: Library research, I nternet research, and
field research. (The latter refers to observation, ethnographic research, interviews,
surveys, etc.)

In general I will be utilizing all three types of Research listed above. I will of course
be conducting Library Research using the JSTOR system and the UCF OneSource search
link with the UCF Library homepage in order to find reliable articles and texts from
Professionals in my field of Political Science in addition to experts of the Middle East
region. With Internet Research I will be looking for Visual texts, relevant book
information dealing with Middle Eastern topics, as well as using it as a source to verify
and fact check information using the World Wide Web. With Field Research, my main
focus will be more with ethnographic research in dealing with the population and peoples
of the region I will be researching. Data and statistics will be found through this.
Interviews will be critical for accounts of current events and historical events. And
rounding it out will be observations in the form of first hand accounts from the people
who were a part of or linked to the events I will be covering, and second hand direct
accounts detailing thoughts on primary sources.

FOUR I nclude a table with major deadlines (from the syllabus) and events, such as
weddings, trips, spring break, conferences, athletic events, concerts, etc.) that guide
your research times. Cover the time from today till publication of e-portfolio.
