School Captain St Francis of Assisi 2014

Hello my fellow peers of grade 6 and teachers. My name is Claudia K and today
I stand before you as a friend and fellow student who have been given the
opportunity to run for school captain. I have attended this school for 6 years in
2013, since prep. I believe that if I were to be chosen for school captain I would
be very responsible, approachable and caring I will stand up for student rights
and what I believe the right decision would be in any situation.
I am currently applying for the position of school Captain, if I were to be
elected I would greatly ensure that any issues or questions that students have
will be raised to the appropriate area of the school to be dealt with, assuring
you that feed back would always be provided of outcomes. And if you have any
problems you can come and approach me on the school yard and I will be
happy to help you in the best way possible.
I strongly believe in equality and everyone should be treated the same way. I
will make sure everyone is treated equally and with respect at all times.
I also believe in balancing school work, activities and having fun, so I would
always keep this in mind when representing you, the students of the school (St
Francis of Assisi). As it is important to ensure studies first but we must
remember to constantly have fun!
I will also try to improve new things and urge the teachers and try to put
forward new ideas such as getting a grade 5 and 6 playground and try to use
the new hall for many more activities for our year levels and the benefits of
our school.
I will proudly represent our school on days such as ANZAC Day, Remembrance
Day and so on by organizing these special events, being a good public speaker
and being respectful to everybody.
If I were to be chosen as school captain it would be a great honor and a very
fun year for us all, hence for all the above reasons is why I Claudia Kyriakou
should be chosen for school captain.
