Chocolate Rough Squares

Ingredients
200g packet of Marie Biscuits
500g packet of icing sugar
60ml (4 tablespoons) cocoa
250g of marg or butter
1 egg (beaten)
5ml (1 teaspoon) vanilla essence
Topping
125g Copha
250g choc bits

Method:

1. Break the marie biscuits into tiny pieces. You can use your hands or crush them with a rolling pin.

2. Melt the butter or marg in the microwave.

3. Sift the icing sugar and cocoa into the melted butter.

4. Add the beaten egg and vanilla essence to the mixture and stir well.

5. Add the crushed biscuits and mix.

6. Grease a swiss roll tin or even a flat plastic container (about 30cm x 20cm)

7. Press the mixture into the container and place in the fridge.

8. Melt copha gently and stir in chocolate, stirring until its all melted together. Pour over slice and
refrigerate until hard

9. Allow the mixture to set in the fridge for a couple of hours.

10. Remove and cut it into squares.

For variation you can add chopped nuts, cherries, chocolate chips etc
