Purpose of Textbooks in
Classroom
Pros
O Textbooks are intended to be a resource for
teachers and students
O Provided guidance and are thought to align with
curriculum standards.
Cons
O Many school districts are only able to supply us
with books (typically every 5 to 7 years for
adoption)
O Technology is advancing so much (at a rate of
change of 6 months)
Should there be an argument
