High School Summer School Teachers

(Math, English, Social Studies, Science & Plato online credit recovery)

Summer school hires each summer from existing district teacher pool, previous summer
school teachers, plus external teachers for any unfilled positions after pool has been
exhausted.

Dates/Hours:
July 7, 2014 - August 7, 2014 ~ Monday Thursday only
8:00am - 11:00am (add 45 minute prep time)
11:30am - 2:30pm (add 45 minute prep time)

Compensation:
$25.15 per hour

Qualifications:
License requirement per MDE

Math courses offered at this time:
Advanced Algebra, Int. Algebra, Geometry

English courses offered at this time:
English 9, 10, 11, 12

Social Studies courses offered at this time:
Civics, US History, World History

Science courses offered at this time:
Life Science, Science 9

High School Summer Support

Summer school hires each summer from existing District staff pool, previous summer
school staff, plus external staff for any unfilled positions after pool has been exhausted.

Dates/Hours:
July 7, 2014 - August 7, 2014 ~ Monday Thursday only
7:30am - 3:00pm (More or less hours may be asked based on need)

Compensation:
Pay per district contract

Qualifications:
PowerSchool and Excel experience necessary. Experience with high school
students preferred.

Duties:
Work with the summer school coordinator performing a variety of duties as
needed (clerical, student & staff support, and family contact).
