iPad Mini Case

*Note* Refer to the table for the measurements of the pieces.


1. The strip pieces were taped onto the 11.25 in x 16.25 in piece with the correct spacing.




2. The cover piece, spine piece and stand piece were placed on the 17 in x 25 in felt with the correct
spacing and traced using chalk.





3. The pieces were also traced on the 17 x 25 in gray fabric.



4. The felt and gray fabric were sewn together following the outline except the bottom line, leaving an
opening.



5. The cover, spine and stand pieces were placed inside the openings.



6. The opening was sewn shut. The cover was finished.





7. The middle piece was placed inside the 11 in x 16.5 in gray fabrics (they were sewn together on 3 sides).



8. The opening of the fabric was sewn shut, leaving a little strip of fabric left.



9. The middle piece was sewn together with the cover. The stand is created.



10. The holder was outlined on the 14.875 in x 17.75 in felt using chalk with the correct measurements and
spacing.



11. The outline was cut out.




12. Some scrap cardboard pieces were cut to fit the holder and hot glued on.






13. A large piece of scrap gray fabric was hot glued on the holder piece, covering the cardboard, and cut to
the same shape and size.



14. The home button/camera hole was outlined with chalk and cut out.



15. The holder piece was hot glued onto the cover.




16. Remaining details were cut out from felt and hot glued on. The iPad case is finished.
